Over the years, friends and family often came to me for help choosing holidays or arranging group trips — especially cruises. I’d research options, compare itineraries, talk through ideas with them, and even place the bookings. I realised how much I enjoyed guiding people through the process and how natural it felt.
That’s when it clicked: starting my own independent travel agency wasn’t just a good fit — it was the perfect one. Across The Sea is built from that experience, combining my love of travel and cruising with the personal support people have always trusted me for.
This photo was taken on my very first cruise back in 2011 – the trip that sparked my love for cruising and eventually led me to start Across The Sea.

Why I Started Across The Sea
Across The Sea was created to offer something different: a calmer, more thoughtful way to plan holidays. After years of seeing how overwhelming travel planning had become — endless websites, conflicting advice, and too many choices — I wanted to build a place where things felt clearer. A space where travellers could talk to someone who genuinely listens, understands what they want, and shapes holidays with care. Across The Sea is my way of bringing simplicity back into travel, with guidance that feels personal rather than pressured.
